South Beach (“SoBe”)
5th to 21st St. Miami Beach

Description: Extensive and wide white sand beach. It is not for the sport of surfing. On some beaches it is allowed to be without the top of the bathing suit.
Special attractions: Playgrounds and public restrooms. Walking area (4th-21st Street) and boardwalk area (5th-16th Street). An area for pedestrians, skaters, cyclists and rollerblading. Restricted parking. Municipal garage and parking area with specialized personnel for this service.
South Pointe Park to 5th Street
A popular beach with Latino families. It is not allowed to be without the top of the bathing suit.

Accessible to boats called “pelicans” on weekends, holidays and making reservations during the week.
