A rendering of the new Riverside complex on the Miami River.

The road will connect the avenue to Brickell Avenue, and the road along the South Miami Avenue Bridge will extend with Jeffrey Barone’s art installations. “In the concrete jungle that is Brickell , we hope to create a unique oasis that anchors an aquatic view, live training, dining, libations and special events.” Said Marcelo Goulart Riverside representative for the press.

Yes. Gastronomy and libations are definitely The stars of the show. There will be two full-service restaurants: Awa, it will serve Asian cuisine, and a steakhouse restaurant. Also there are more casual, easy-to-carry options from Le Chick, Morgan, and Old Lisbon.

Miami River Brewery will also be available, serving craft beer on tap that will taste exceptional on hot summer days. Expect a rotation of small-batch specialty beers, with signature and seasonal beers, and local collaborations. There’s an outdoor beer garden for your lounging pleasure, but if it’s too hot, and if you spent the month of August in Miami, you know it will, you can retire indoors with your drink and watch sports on TV.
