Miami Children Museum
Miami Children Museum, more than a museum! You can enjoy with your family the exhibitions dedicated to animate, play, create and learn.
The museum has 56,500 m2 of installation, includes 14 permanent rooms, preschool classrooms, parent center, educational Smart Kid: gift shop, auditoriums and restaurants.
The museum offers hundreds of interactive, bilingual exhibits, programs and classes, learning material related to arts, culture, community and communication.
The exhibition gallery of Miami Children Museum has auditorium and other spaces that are equipped with elevators, ramps, flexible seating. Admission to the museum guarantees free accessibility to all exhibits.
Permanent activities at the Museum:
Art Salon:
Miami Children Museum has an art studio, where children learn all the craft techniques with clay. In addition, they will know painting techniques with colors and other materials, obtaining artistic experience. The activity starts at 11 a.m. until 5:00 pm.
Music Studies:
Enjoy the music studio at the Miami Children Museum, where children learn about different instruments, introducing them to the world of music, demonstrating how music inspires and unites generations. They have the opportunity to learn about the saxophone, guitar, drums, bass, clarinet and many more instruments. The activity starts at 4:30 p.m.
Sandcastle:
A two-story sand castle that represents the beginning of the journey of adventure and imagination. Most of the castle consists of luminous sand with pieces of stained glass that create a very special atmosphere. It has a fun slide where children can slide from the top of the castle. The activity starts at 10:30 a.m.
